What is wrong with the editing? The "You wonder how I get in this situation" destroys it for me.

I love the chemistry between Max and Jay from releases in the past. Max the animated big hunky himbo mostly always being outwitted by the mischievous Jay that often gets his way with Max makes for a hot dynamic.
