QīngSōng is now confined within TíngHui’s private clinic – no longer just a guest, but a carefully monitored test subject. With nothing to distract him from the silence of the sterile room, he turns to intense physical training, hoping to rebuild his strength after the previous incident. However, his body isn’t ready, and his heart even less so.
Driven by stubborn pride and the desire to prove himself, QīngSōng pushes far beyond his limits. Sweat drips, breath trembles, and his pulse grows wild and unstable. Still, he refuses to stop until his heart does. He collapses hard onto the floor, consciousness slipping away as his body shuts down.
Fortunately, TíngHui arrives just in time. Finding QīngSōng motionless, he reacts instantly, stripping away the tight sportswear that restricts his chest and launching into deep, urgent CPR. Shock after shock from the defibrillator shakes the room as he fights desperately to restart the failing heart of his prized subject.
At last, QīngSōng gasps back to life, but TíngHui doesn’t stop. Determined to stabilize him, he continues the rhythmic CPR, sustaining QīngSōng’s circulation with relentless precision, guiding him step by step back toward survival. In the end, he reaches a breathless, overwhelming happy ending.
