Shortly before Christmas, a meeting took place with some of the tougher guys from Fightplace. Moe and Eckes had planned to spend a cozy evening by the warm stove in the studio on a cold winter day. They weren’t expecting visitors - but suddenly Nic and Finn showed up. Apparently, they had the same idea and didn’t want to spend the evening out in the freezing cold.

Despite the holiday season, the mood among the guys was tense from the start, and verbal arguments quickly broke out. It was only a matter of time before those heated exchanges turned into physical action in the mat room. Moe suggested settling things with a tag-team match: Moe and his buddy Eckes versus Nic and Finn.

Eckes brought solid fighting experience to the table, having trained in kickboxing and MMA in the past. In the first round, where he had to face Finn, that became very clear. The match kicked off fast, aggressive, and powerful - setting the tone for this Fight Night. And one thing is certain: it gets a little rougher with each round.

The first dirty tricks were used, and the rules of a proper tag-team match were repeatedly broken. When Moe finally warned that this would turn into a “dirty fight,” it was clear which direction the evening was heading.

Not everyone walked away without injuries - but luckily, no ambulance had to be called.
