After a long, draining day at work, ChūnĀn finally returns home, hoping only for a moment of quiet. He reaches for a cup of water left on the table—unaware that someone else has already prepared it for him. Within minutes, his vision blurs. His strength fades. The room tilts as the anesthetic takes hold, and ChūnĀn slips into unconsciousness. That’s when HuángFēng steps out of the shadows.
With calculated calm, he checks ChūnĀn’s condition and begins a controlled resuscitation experiment—placing his hands carefully, charging the defibrillator, watching every reaction. CPR compressions echo in the silent room. Electrical shocks jolt through ChūnĀn’s body as HuángFēng pushes the limits of control and recovery.
At last, ChūnĀn is pulled back from the edge, revived once more under HuángFēng’s watchful eye. But as consciousness returns, one question lingers in the air—was this rescue… or something far more deliberate?
