Otto and I face off in the first of three matches to decide who comes out on top. So, where’s your money going — on me, the rugby lad with the size advantage, or Otto, who brings some BJJ experience and has recently added boxing to his skill set?
This opening contest is packed with physical action as we battle for control. Expect plenty of scissor holds, tight grappling exchanges, and determined attempts to keep the other man pinned to the mat. Neither of us is willing to give an inch.
There’s a lot of close body contact throughout the match, with both of us working hard to secure dominant positions. At times we’re tangled together, rolling across the mat as each of us tries to gain the upper hand and force the other into a disadvantage.
The chemistry of competition is impossible to ignore as strength, technique, and endurance are put to the test. Every hold, escape, and reversal brings the contest a little closer to a decisive outcome.
Watch this first match and let us know who you think takes the win. Then keep an eye out for the next two matches so you can decide who deserves to be crowned the overall victor.
