The first film of 2022 is out, and in our opinion, it perfectly captures the old spirit of Fightplace: hard, real action performed by athletic guys you simply enjoy watching as they test their strength.

Hector is working out in the small fitness area of Fightplace. He’s alone and about to finish his session and head to the shower when someone suddenly walks in. He’s surprised - the guy has a key to the studio, and Hector doesn’t recognize him.

The man with the key, returning to the studio after a long absence, is Moe.

Moe has apparently heard rumors that there’s a new fighter around - someone who might challenge his status. He approaches Hector tense and aggressive.

Hector can only smile at the slim, almost skinny guy with the big mouth.

But the situation escalates quickly, and after just a few sharp exchanges, things turn physical right there in the training area.

These two don’t waste time - especially not when it comes to positions or the number one spot in the fans’ rankings.

Before they end up smashing each other between the weight bench and other equipment, they move next door into the mat room.

They begin fighting in their street clothes, but the fabric doesn’t last long under the strain. Soon they’re down to their underwear - which, as usual, doesn’t bother either of them. In fact, Moe really turns it up at that point, working his opponent over with wedgies and other nasty tactics.

Moe shows himself at his best here, delivering top-level performance on the mat once again. Hector manages to handle the lighter opponent fairly well at first, but he quickly realizes he’s dealing with a serious and highly skilled fighter. Moe’s extensive experience from numerous Fightplace battles gives him clear advantages. Still, Hector is no rookie either, and what unfolds is a tough, gritty test of strength between two agile and ambitious fighters.

The ending is dramatic. After more than an hour of exhausting combat, both are visibly drained, completely out of power - yet giving up is not an option.
