John comes to his housemate to ask him again if he can get a pet dog for the house. John's housemate is annoyed by the question and tells John that they've talked about this before, and that he doesn't want to get a pet dog. John tries to ask again, but his housemate keeps telling him no. John whispers, "well, if you don't want me to get a pet dog, you'll just have to become one". His housemate doesn't hear this well and says, "what did you say?" John says, "it's nothing."
John changes the topic and tells his housemate that he has a funny video to show him on the phone. John shows his phone to his flatmate, and the phone has a spiral on it. His housemate keeps looking at the spiral, not understanding what it is, and starts to go into a trance.
While his housemate is in a trance, John says, "You are now under my complete control. When I snap my fingers, you will wake up and tell me that you have a brilliant idea. You will ask me to be your owner and tell me that you can become my pet dog instead. You will want to be naked and on all fours, barking, doing tricks, and drinking from a bowl on the floor. You will follow all my commands.
