The defibrillator is charged. Each jolt sends his body tensing as questions press harder and time grows thinner.
Still conscious, MíngZhòng endures wave after wave of shocks and urgent chest compressions, caught between fear and fading strength. TíngHui pushes the limits, determined to uncover the truth—until the weight of it all finally breaks through.
The game ends. Recognizing how far things have gone, TíngHui stops. The tension drains from the room. MíngZhòng is spared, forgiven, and allowed to breathe again—literally and figuratively. What remains is a fragile peace, forged in pain, rescue, and a second chance neither of them expected.
