This match has been a decade in the making. Subwrestler2 and I agreed to an NHB fight to exhaustion with no time or sub limits. One man would have to make the other quit to end the match.

This was our first time meeting, and we also agreed that no words would be spoken between us before the fight. Instead, we both warm up in silence before sizing each other up face to face.

Once we got to knees, all bets were off. The fight is 45 straight minutes of sweaty, grueling submissions with body shots, both of us trying to punish and chip away at the other. The first fall is a 16-minute back-and-forth struggle, each of us resorting to nastier and more desperate tactics as the time ticks on. Body shots fly, hands and forearms are pressed into each other’s throats, one guy tries to get leverage by forcing the other as hard as he can into the padded wall. This is a grudge fight, plain and simple.

Eventually, after many even rounds and punishing holds, one of us starts slipping and losing strength, while the other exploits his weaknesses to extract even more pain and punishment. This is a real fight between two muscular, skilled, rough, unrelentless opponents. You don’t wanna miss it.
