While Lukas is working on his boxing techniques in the warm-up room, Karlos (19) joins him.
Karlos is curious about what goes on at Fightplace and wants to learn more. Lukas, however, is a bit annoyed and makes this very clear to the newcomer. He thinks highly of himself, proudly shows off his well-trained body at every opportunity, and flexes his muscles. Karlos doesn’t like Lukas’s big mouth and his bragging at all and thinks to himself: “What does this guy want from me? He’s a head shorter than I am, and if I want to, I can flatten him.”

Lukas is very good at boxing, and as it turns out, Karlos is not inexperienced either. But what about wrestling? The two of them want to find that out in the basement. Does size really matter that much, or is Lukas’s greater experience enough to defeat the newcomer?

Both are street fighters, and you can tell, because they always start their rounds with intense boxing sessions before things turn into a rough brawl. Once it goes to the ground, the wheat is separated from the chaff. There you quickly feel—especially in Karlos’s case—who is really in control.

Lukas is the more experienced fighter, and his scissors and schoolboypins give Karlos a hard time. That’s something he still has to learn. Lukas enjoys his superiority and repeatedly shows off his muscles while sitting on top of him. Lukas is simply the better technician and trickster. As a result, Karlos not only has to endure hard legscissors, bodyscissors, pins, and a few slaps, but in his very first fight he also learns what wedgies are :-)

From time to time he manages to turn the tables, proving that he is capable of more. There will surely be a rematch between the two, and who knows—by then Karlos may have had a few fights under his belt and gained more experience by day X. Then it will be much harder for Lukas to take on the Mexican boy.
