Workout Partner

Whoever said a workout partner is supposed to help you lift CLEARLY never trained with me.

Andrew showed up expecting a gym session.

I had other ideas, and some pretty good ones at that.

We started with sit-ups. Simple enough. The problem was that Andrew seemed a little too eager to join in. Before long, he was learning that being part of my workout routine can be a painful experience.

Then came push-ups.

Now, if his face happened to end up in the wrong place at the wrong time... well... that's hardly my fault. 🍆

Leg day was next.

And honestly, who knew scissoring could be such an effective adductor workout? The burn was incredible. The pump was even better. Every squeeze pushed those muscles harder while Andrew found himself trapped in the middle of the exercise.

Squats?

Easy.

Even with a 1.82m, 98kg jobber hanging off me, it still felt like featherweight for these primal muscles.

Of course, no full-body workout would be complete without some arm training.

So I put my biceps to good use.

A few sleepers here. A few sleepers there.

The kind of exercise that leaves one person feeling stronger and the other wondering what year it is.

And as I've said before...

I know how to get creative.

You boys should really stick around and see what I managed to do with a rope.

Trust me.

Any volunteers to be my next workout jobber? I mean "Patner"😂
