GuāngLín is absorbed in his favorite wrestling match when the screen suddenly goes black. Annoyed but curious, he steps closer to the TV, reaching behind it to check the cables—never suspecting the danger waiting there.
In an instant, a powerful surge of electricity tears through his body. GuāngLín is thrown to the floor, muscles locking as violent convulsions ripple through him. Then—stillness. His chest no longer rises. His heart falls silent.
Moments later, TíngHui rushes in and freezes at the sight. Training takes over. Clothes are stripped away. Hands interlock. Chest compressions pound against time as the defibrillator is powered on. Pads are placed. A shock surges through GuāngLín’s lifeless body. Then another. And another—until finally, a gasp breaks the silence.
Barely conscious, GuāngLín is moved into a chair as TíngHui continues aggressive resuscitation—alternating defibrillator shocks with assisted breathing to stabilize his failing circulation. Each second teeters on the edge, until GuāngLín’s body finally begins to respond again.
