I can still remember the feeling I had just one year ago…
After YEARS of talking about it, the moment finally arrived. In the summer of 2025, I met the formidable James Strong in person—and what happened next was an experience I’ll never forget.
At the time, James had only a handful of previous opponents listed on MeetFighters, so I’ll be honest… I was nervous. VERY nervous. I even brought a friend who speaks Portuguese to help us communicate.
Then the cameras started rolling.
What followed was our first-ever session together: Rounds 1–4, roughly 60 minutes of intense action and one of the toughest experiences I’d ever put myself through. And when the cameras stopped, James was still gracious enough to check on me and make sure I was okay.
That first meeting was just the beginning.
Over the following year, I made THREE more trips to Toronto to create more content with James. The incredible support from our fans made those trips possible—and gave us the chance to create some unforgettable memories together.
Now, exactly one year after that very first meeting, we’re celebrating by giving something back to the people who have been following our journey from the beginning.
