Update to our x-mass ecards

Improvements in the last week:

• Dashboard improvements, faster response, and yearly view break down to months.
• Channels without personalized avatar pictures will now render a union icon. Which makes it easier to recognize them in comments and messages.
• Bug fixes and stabilization added.

Improvements in the last week:

For channels:

• Channels can directly refund over the wallet interface
• Channels can send messages to all their sponsors.
• Channels can send messages to all their followers.

For viewers:

• Channel owner must now justify a reason for deleting a monetized sold post

New: Channel introduction video
In your Account settings you can select a Primary Video.
This video will be always shown if a member visits your main channel page.

Added:

• Following playlists. An overview of all followed playlists is available under your settings.

With the last update,

• you can now sell and buy videos below $5.
• video prices are even easier to recognize.

Added:

• Video encoding progress bar; If you upload a new video, you can monitor the progress of your encoding. Or see how long the current queue is.
• You can mark your video as "private" before you upload it.

• More finetuning on the main Explore page.

Encoding:

• A video that is currently encoding is no longer displayed. (Previously, it was displayed as 'under construction) The uploader can see the videos on the your-content page.
• During peak times, the encoding queue is a few hours long. We will monitor this, and if needed, add more encoding capacity.
• The Upload date will be adjusted to the time the video goes online (encoding finished).

• Question: Why are you encoding? I provided you a perfect HD file!
• Answer: We have to encode every uploaded video twice, to support all modern systems (Apple, Android, Windows, Linux). From your video, two versions are created, and your browser decides which version he will access. This is a standard process for video (streaming) platforms. - It is not related to our Watermark. We would need to encode, even if we remove the Watermark, which will soon be an option.
  • We are encoding in HEVC and VP9.

• some smaller bugfixes, including a bug that prevented the payment of videos in certain cases

Work in progress:

• HTML5 error when accessing videos on the latest macOS (v 11.5) using Safari; Workaround, use another browser Firefox/Chrome until this bug is fixed.
