This is the public fundraising page for Wrestlefest NYC, the first of it's kind. It's expensive to put on an event like Wrestlefest in a city like NYC. I'm sure you know that as you are booking your trip here. For the past few years, the team at MeetFighters / WatchFighters has generously donated money to cover all of the costs of running Wrestlefest NYC. Through their sponsorship, we on the ground have shown what we can do as a community to organize events for ourselves, and how good those group events are for us both as individuals, and as a community of fighters. We are forever thankful to MF / WF for making these things possible. 

Now, in a step that further promotes our partnership and allows us to build as a community, MF/WF has introduced this system for us to crowdfund for the event for ourselves. It's important to note that MF/WF still has our back and is supporting us 100%. In fact, they are providing the money to us in advance. Their guarantee to us through this platform, is that whatever money we lack from our goal by the end of the fundraiser, MF/WF will cover the difference. 

What this means for us is huge. We can keep Wrestlefest NYC FREE for all attendees as it has always been. But those of us who are able to, can donate any amount you want here. The money goes 100% to Wrestlefest NYC thanks to MF/WF. Once our goal for the annual fest is reached, any extra money raised will be kept on this platform for the next year. 

Another way to look at it, is that any donation to Wrestlefest NYC is also a donation toward our community, since it lessens the financial burden on MF/WF for their contribution to us. I see it as a win/win for all of us. I hope you will contribute what you can. By my calculations, if we each (500 ppl) donate $20, we will reach the goal. 

Donations at each level can be made multiple times, and the fundraiser will be open until February 28, 2026.
