Ways to mitigate getting burned by paid, streaming-only content removal

I find myself much less likely to pay for anything streaming for this reason. Why buy something that can be taken away from you?

This post mostly concerns streaming-only video content.

Second time this has happened - I purchase access to a streaming-only video and then it gets flagged for removal within a week. Completely understand there are reasons for this to happen and not saying it should go away - the creator of content has control - but as someone paying for access and weighing the vastly different prices on here, I would appreciate some sort of rating or tracker that lets me know how often the person I'm buying from is doing this. If someone is charging $10 for a mid-level production, streaming-only video and has a history of removing content vs someone who's charging $15 for lower quality but lets me download or doesn't have a history of removing content, I'm likely to pay for the $15 one. And yes, I have some time to view it from when it's flagged to when it's removed....but that feels like it's just going to promote people to find ways to copy that content after getting burned for paying for it.

Always support creators having control of their content, but I would appreciate some more information to inform choices. Like percentage or # of videos that stay available longer then say...6 months (along with posting date). Or even if there was a field for creators to indicate expected window of availability.
